The Wine Corner and Da Vine Art are a family-owned Maui business owned and operated by Gregory Brown and Susun White who have been a couple since 1985. They have two very talented children, Soleil and Gaia.
Susun White has served as executive director for the Pa'ia Youth & Cultural Center (PYCC) since 1993. In 1999, John Berg, a past board member of the PYCC, sold The Wine Corner in Pa'ia to Gregory and Susun when he retired.
Gregory and Susun expanded the wine selection, and in 2006 relocated the store to the new building formerly known as The Pa'ia General Store. This store location was built to their own design and won the Pa'ia Main Street award in 2007 for best interior design.
The Wine Corner in Pa'ia has the legacy of being in operation as a wine/liquor store for over 65 years and is loved by locals and tourists alike.
In addition to one of the finest selection of wines and specialty beers on Maui, The Wine Corner also carries items that pertain to fine wines, such as glassware, corkscrews, and gourmet deli foods. Many of the foods offered in the deli case at The Wine Corner may be tasted prior to purchase at Da Vine Art. Most of the foods are locally grown on Maui or in the Hawaiian Islands.
Da Vine Art opened primarily as a wine bar and wine education venue in October 2013.
In February 2017, Da Vine Art expanded to address the needs of the community to offer coffee beverages. Da Vine Art sells the best (absolutely guaranteed) coffee beverages on the North Shore of Maui. How about a splash of Kahlua in your coffee? We are the only wine/coffee bar on Maui that also offers beer, wine, and spirits.
We also sell Hawaiian beers and selected spirits.
The carefully selected featured wines change monthly (with a discount offered in The Wine Corner for any wines purchased the same day tasted at Da Vine Art).
